WELCOME TO HH Saddle Club
Learn the fundamentals of horsemanship with our educational horseback lessons and trail-riding adventures loacted in Killeen, Texas. HH Saddle Club is a fun and rewarding program for anyone looking for an extracurricular sport or who might even want to own a horse one day! We offer group and private lessons for kids, teens, and adults.
HH Saddle Club members will learn:

How to approach, halter, lead, tie, groom and tack their horse for the ride

Assess gear fit and functionality for horse and rider

Sit and post the trot in the saddle, as well as ride the trot bareback

Understand leg pressure, how to open gates while mounted
-
Learn to maneuver obstacles and playday event patterns

Understand nutrition and its impact on horse behavior

Treat riding as a sport, and remember that it’s physical and can be hard work.

*Ask about our volunteer program available to all saddle club members!
ALL saddle club members will be required to master the sitting trot before learning about the different seats needed for speed events and riding through varying terrain. We will work with you at your desired pace.
Private Lessons
$80 - 1 hour
Our private horse riding lessons are the perfect place to begin for riders with limited experience. Mounted sessions start low and slow. We will teach you step-by-step the process of getting into the saddle, how to hold the reins, how to place your feet in the stirrups and what body position you should have in the saddle.

Group Lessons
$60 - 1 hour
Our group horse riding lessons are perfect for riders who can mount and dismount unassisted, is capable of applying basic aids, is comfortable and in control at the walk, moderate length posting trots, and able to follow multi-step directions.

HH Ranch Camp

HH Saddle Club offers weekly ranch camps to not only learn and enjoy horses, but also explore Texas themed outdoor activities for all ages 5+. Camp members will learn the fundamentals of horsemanship and develop horseback riding skills personalized to each individuals skill level. We are committed to providing a program that prides itself on quality, safety, and fun!

NEW - This year we will be raising baby chicks at ranch camp!
What to bring and wear: Come wearing long pants, a t-shirt, and closed toe shoes or boots. Everyone should bring a sack lunch and a small snack along with a refillable water bottle.

Horse Boarding
$450/month
At HH Saddle Club we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of care for your horse. We provide full care boarding and a variety of training services including private and group horseback lessons, colt starting, tune ups, and trail riding adventures.

ALL saddle club members will be required to provide proof of negative coggins and standard physical examination annually.
